Wim de Roo; Fotografie en styling.
Wim studeerde in de 60er jaren modevormgeving aan de kunstacademie St. Joost in Breda.
Naast een carrière als etaleur/decorateur, ontwerpt en maakt hij kleding en decoraties.
Door eigen werk te gaan fotograferen, en het werk als stylist voor de productie van modefoto's voor posters en tijdschriften raakt hij gepassioneerd voor dit werk. En gestimuleerd door een prijs te winnen met een fotowedstrijd bij A'dam modestad in 1984, stort hij zich op deze kunstvorm.
Beurzen, styling opdrachten en exposities zijn het gevolg.
Zijn werk ontwikkeld zich in een culturele mix van kleur, stijl en model, waar de mens; het model, steeds de centrale rol speelt.
Door de setting ontstaat een tijdloos erotisch en soms een confronterend eigenbeeld.
