The presence of heavy metal ions in many industrial waste waters is a growing concern for many environmental experts and health officials. Removal of this ions by adsorption is proving to be the choice method because it is not only easy to implement but also versatile and does not require investment in expensive equipment. This book focuses on the removal of two of such ions (Aluminium and Chromium(III)) and would help chemical scientists better explain adsorption phenomena while process engineers can use the results presented in any eventual design and scale up of process equipment.
