Introduction
Let us face it; every parent out there who is interested in making sure that his child eats a proper regular diet is going to come up against three problems – children are very fussy eaters, their likes and dislikes are going to depend upon your eating lifestyle and of course the social habit and activity is going to depend upon the child looking around and wanting to eat what his friends eat, at school, in the homes of their friends and so they adopt the eating habits of friends, companions and peers.
As a child you are going to like to eat what children in your peer group enjoy eating best.
The statistics of childhood obesity are getting to be rather scary because they have tripled in the last 40 years! When we were young, there was rarely a youngster who was fat. That is because we ate just enough of food to fill our bellies, and never over ate because that would make us sleepy and lethargic, during our lunch hour play session. Also, at that time, our parents were interested in making sure that we had good nourishing food to eat at regular times. We never skipped a meal.
