Within what seems a milisecond Mels husband leaves her and relinquishes his shareholdings.

Her brother-in-law a heavy drinker sells off his share to his wifes brother and her sister-in-law is scheming to defraud the government due to pressing financial problems. If the business didnt have potential Mel would never have started it in the first place.

As soon as their product was launched it became an instant success. She knew it would be popular but was overwhelmed at just how popular.

She managed to balance the supply and demand scenario and things were taking shape nicely. However someone for reasons yet unknown - be it revenge jealousy financial gain or whatever - took their actions to the extreme by setting fire to the business premises or arranging for someone else to do it totally destroying everything she had worked for over the past two years.

The Irish Garda police botched their investigations and as a result the Insurance Company refused to pay out on the claim. Now whether it was one or more of the relatives the landlord the opposition or just someone who didnt want to see her succeed.
