I only recently ended up with this transcript, which was found in my uncle’s possessions after his death, some 14 years ago now. These fifty or so pages, have been re-typed, keeping to the original as much as possible, with a view to publishing.
Was this a real S.A.S. operation? It is unclear why my uncle should have a transcript of a military operation in Northern Ireland from March 1984. The only clue is that my uncle was actually in the SAS, it was long before 1984 it’s true. In fact he was a member of the S.A.S. during the Second World War.
